School so far...

In an effort to actually use my blog I am going to quickly fill everyone in on life back at GW so far.

I have started to fall a little bit in love with Feminist Sociological thought. This is mostly because of a lady named Judith Lorber, who explains the social construction of gender in the most interesting and understandable way ever.

With the exception of my geol...zzzzzzzzzzz, oh sorry, my geology class (borrrrrinnnnnnngg...snoooozzzz) I am really loving my classes and professors. Especially Jill Brantley and Pat Lengermann-- they are pure amazingness. a

I am in Danceworks this semester in a truly awesome piece. Love it so much.

I have yet to bake anything worth reporting about in my kitchen. My life is too busy. I hate that a little bit.

No more for now. Maybe later.

Who are you and what gives you the right?

I figure I should begin my fresh blogging by defending the title. You may be wondering the above (who are you and what gives you the right?) but I don't really have a good excuse for myself....I have always hated onion (except deep-fried...) and no matter what my mom and dad tell me, I will never come around.

I hope that the onion lovers out there will forgive me, its nothing personal. I don't even mind your onion breath. :)

So, this blog is probably going to be about my cooking/eating/avoiding onions endeavors with a few random tidbits about dance, yoga, traveling, etc. If you are bored with me or offended by my hatred of onions you can check out the better blog that I contribute to: www.tastyface.com.
